Our ENG1 Doctor - Dr Andy Gaston

Dr Gaston is an MCA Approved Doctor qualified to issue ENG1 medical certificates. Our appointments are usually offered on Thursday mornings at St Levan Surgery. Appointments last approximately 40 minutes.

What you Need for the Appointment

• Previous ENG1 (if you have one),
•          Photo I.D. (passport, driving licence, discharge book or National Citizen ID card)
•          If you wear contacts/glasses – wear your glasses to the appointment
•          List of current medications
•          Recent letters or discharge notes which relate to medical treatment since the last medical examination
•         A dental examination forms part of the medical and you will have needed to have visited a dentist within the last year or are advised to do so
•          Please avoid loud noise for 16 hours prior to medical

Payment

We require full payment upon booking (or within 48 hours if unable to pay at the time), the fee for an ENG1 Medical is £115. We can accept cash, card, or BACS. Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation notice of 7 days or more given by patient: refund in full

Cancellation notice of less than 7 days prior but more than 24 hours: offer of an alternative appointment (one-off) or will charge a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the full fee

Cancellation less than 24 hours or did not attend: full fee to be retained by the Surgery

In exceptional circumstances where cancellation notice is given last minute, we may be able to offer a one-off alternative appointment. We reserve the right to decide whether this is appropriate on a case-by-case basis. Please note, this decision will be made by a member of the Senior Management Team and not Reception.
